Prayagraj, 20th<\/sup> January, 2025<\/i>\u00a0<\/span>\u2013 The historic Maha Kumbh, a spiritual convergence of millions at Prayagraj, witnesses another milestone this year with the inauguration of a comprehensive health camp by\u00a0<\/span>Cheshtha<\/strong>, with support from the\u00a0<\/span>Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), AngelLife Cosmetology and Wellness, MVM Motors, Comfy Mobility and Arogyavaram Critical Care Hospital<\/strong>. This health initiative began on\u00a0<\/span>January 17, 2025<\/strong>, at\u00a0<\/span>Sector 19, Harshvardhan Marg<\/strong>, offering completely free essential medical services to pilgrims at this globally celebrated event.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Maha Kumbh Mela<\/strong>, deeply rooted in Indian culture, is held every 12 years at the confluence of the sacred rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati but this year its more special as the stars alignment and completion of 12 cycles of 12 Maha Kumbhs. Recognized as the world\u2019s largest religious gathering, it has evolved into a global event under the visionary leadership of our Hon.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>Prime Minister Narendra Modi<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>and\u00a0<\/span>Uttar Pradesh Hon. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath<\/strong>, who have elevated its stature to new heights. The meticulous planning and execution by\u00a0<\/span>IAS Vijay Kiran Anand<\/strong>, the Mela Adhikari, have made this year\u2019s Maha Kumbh a resounding success.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The health camp initiative by Cheshtha, financially supported by SIDBI, aims to provide free medical consultations, distribution of medicines, and essential health screenings. The camp is spearheaded by\u00a0<\/span>Dr. Shashank Kharabanda<\/strong>, Founder President of Cheshtha, and\u00a0<\/span>Mrs. Mrinalini Sur Sthalekar<\/strong>, Project Director, with the support of an exceptional medical team comprising renowned specialists such as\u00a0<\/span>Dr. Sabita Dixit<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/span>Dr. Rahul Mathur<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/span>Dr. Piyush Dixit<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/span>Dr. Sunil Vishwakarma<\/strong>, Dr. Swati Chaudhary, Dr. Shaswat Srivastava, Dr. Varun Kharbanda, Dr. Anjana Purnima, Dr. Nikhil Dhawan, Dr. Shubhi Sahai, Dr. Sunil Vishwakarma,<\/strong> Dr. Rahul Solanki and\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Dr. Anand Chaudhary<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The inaugural ceremony, was performed on January 17\u00a0<\/strong>afterreligious \u201cPuja\u201d was performed by priests of the \u201c<\/strong><\/span>Sanatan Dharma<\/strong><\/span><\/i>\u201d on the auspicious day of \u201c<\/strong><\/span>Ganesh Chauth\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/i>, the event was inaugurated by\u00a0<\/span>Hon. MLA Harsh Vardhan Bajpai (City North \u2013 Prayagraj)<\/strong>.\u00a0 <\/span>Special acknowledgment was extended to\u00a0<\/span> Hon. MLA Deepak Patel<\/strong>, GM – SIDBI Mr. Rajiv Kumar.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Highlights of the health camp include general health check-ups, specialist consultations, distribution of free medicines, and awareness programs. Unique services such as gynecology, cardiology, dental, and eye consultations will ensure comprehensive care for pilgrims. Essential items like sanitary pads, multivitamins, and spectacles will also be distributed during the camp.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The initiative reflects the profound commitment of Cheshtha and SIDBI to public welfare, ensuring the well-being of attendees at the Maha Kumbh. Speaking about the initiative,\u00a0<\/span>Dr. Shashank Kharabanda<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>said, \u201cThis health camp is a small yet meaningful step in serving the millions of devotees who gather here for spiritual solace.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The team of dedicated organizers, including\u00a0<\/span>Dr. Shweta Srivastava<\/strong>,\u00a0Mr.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>Rahul Sthalekar<\/strong>, Mr.<\/strong> Suvansh Agarwal<\/strong> and\u00a0Mr.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Ravi Shankar Verma<\/strong>, will work tirelessly to ensure the camp\u2019s success. On the occasion of the inauguration special thanks were extended to the SIDBI Prayagraj team, led by Assistant General Manager Mr.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>Amit Rai and\u00a0<\/strong>Assistant Manager<\/strong><\/span> Mr. Shobhit Agarwal<\/strong>, for their unwavering support and Mr. Abinesh Srivastava, Shri Nagendra Singh<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>and\u00a0<\/span>Dr. Pankaj Gupta<\/strong>\u00a0were also thanked\u00a0<\/span>for their invaluable contributions and relentless support made this initiative.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n
