Bengaluru<\/i> – Aikya PU College, Jayanagar, Bengaluru, commemorated the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda by organizing a grand celebration marked by an interschool competition. The event, which spanned over several days, brought together students from more than 25 schools across the city for a series of intellectually stimulating activities that included Quiz, Elocution, Essay Writing, and Short Movie Making. The competition was held for students of grades 8th, 9th, and 10th, encouraging young minds to channel their creative, analytical, and public speaking skills in a bid to uphold the values championed by the revered Swami Vivekananda.<\/p>\n

The event reached its grand finale today with a prestigious Prize Distribution Ceremony, where the winners of each category werehonoured for their outstanding performances. Students showcased their knowledge, creativity, and eloquence in their respective fields, making the event a vibrant platform for intellectual exchange.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Chief Guest, Member of Parliament Shri L.S. Tejasvi Surya, and Guest of Honour, Jayanagar Constituency MLA Shri C.K. Ramamurthy. Both dignitaries, in their speeches, emphasized the importance of instilling a spirit of inquiry, self-reliance, and patriotism among the younger generation, values that were dearly upheld by Swami Vivekananda.<\/p>\n

Shri Tejasvi Surya, in his address, praised the efforts of Aikya PU College for organizing such a meaningful event and said, “This competition is not just a contest of skills but a celebration of the spirit of learning, of striving for excellence. Swami Vivekananda\u2019s teachings have always been a guiding light for the youth, and this event is a testament to how the youth of today continue to embrace his ideals.”<\/p>\n

Shri C.K. Ramamurthy also commended the management and staff of Aikya PU College for their meticulous planning and execution of the event, which he said, “brings out the best in students and creates a platform for them to showcase their talent.”<\/p>\n

The event was further honoured by the presence of the founder of Aikya PU College, Shri Mohan Babu Krishnam, and the co-founder, Shri Harish Krishnam. Both of them, along with the staff, have been the driving forces behind the institution’s growth and commitment to academic excellence. Their vision has been central to the college\u2019s approach of creating a nurturing environment that encourages holistic development in students. Their leadership and continued support were crucial in the smooth execution of the event.<\/p>\n
