Why Canada?<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“As a technocrat, I recognized Canada as a global hub for business education. The country offers excellent academic training with a practical approach, which aligns with my career goals in SaaS and digital transformation,” says Varun. “The affordability of education here was another key factor. My MBA program costs around CAD 25,000 annually, significantly lower than tuition fees in other parts of the world. Plus, the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) allows me to work in Canada for up to three years after graduation.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A Transformative Learning Experience<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Varun\u2019s academic journey has taken him from SRM University in India, where he completed his B.Tech in Automobile Engineering, to Lawrence Technological University in the United States for his M.S. in Automotive Engineering. However, he highlights how his MBA at IBU is uniquely positioned at the intersection of technology and business strategy.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“The program emphasizes collaborative learning. Working with students from 15 different countries has broadened my perspective on global business challenges. Additionally, hands-on experience with IBU\u2019s advanced analytics lab has strengthened my financial planning and data-driven decision-making skills.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Work Opportunities and Career Growth<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

One of the major advantages of studying in Canada is the ability to work while pursuing a degree. “Students can work up to 20 hours per week off-campus during academic semesters and full-time during breaks without a separate work permit,” explains Varun. “Universities also offer internships, which help in gaining industry experience. Networking through career fairs, alumni events, and industry panels can significantly increase employment prospects.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Embracing Diversity<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Toronto\u2019s diverse culture has enriched Varun\u2019s experience. “Celebrating Diwali with my international friends, sharing traditional Indian food, and experiencing different cultures firsthand has been incredible. The multicultural exposure helps students grow both professionally and personally.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Apply for scholarships early:<\/strong> Programs like the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) can provide financial support.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Be prepared for the weather:<\/strong> Toronto winters can reach -40\u00b0C, so investing in good winter gear is essential.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“Canada offers immense possibilities if you are proactive. My journey has been life-changing, and I encourage aspiring students to make the most of their experience,” concludes Varun.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
